O regulamento em vigor (DL 237-A/2006, arts. 10.º-A e 25.º) afere a ligação efetiva pela língua, ao nível A2. O critério pode mudar com o novo Regulamento da Nacionalidade, que decorre do art. 4.º da LO 1/2026, tem prazo de 90 dias (cerca de 16/08/2026) e continua por publicar.The regulation in force (Decree-Law 237-A/2006, arts. 10-A and 25) assesses the effective connection through language, at A2 level. The criterion may change with the new Nationality Regulation, which arises from art. 4 of LO 1/2026, has a 90-day deadline (around 16/08/2026) and is still unpublished.
